PATENTED SYSTEM

Metal structures with bolted joints and no welding

Every joint in the structure is a bolted connector that takes the tubes and holds them in place. We work with 100×100 mm SHS structural tube, 2, 3 or 4 mm thick depending on the calculation.

We invented the StarModul system and we manufacture its connectors: 3 mm steel plate parts with electrolytic zinc plating and trivalent passivation that replace welding at the joints. They are protected by patent ES 2531702, and the 100×100 mm connectors have been tested to failure at the LERMA laboratory of the UPC.

All material is CE marked (EN 1090-1), the structure complies with the Spanish Building Code (CTE) and an engineer carries out and certifies the structural calculation. We have more than 25 years in the sector and more than 1,000 projects.

Bolted joints

Every joint is a connector: the profiles are bolted, not welded.

Dry assembly

Grade 8.8 self-locking serrated bolts. Tightened with an electric impact driver or a hand spanner.
