The SL55-18 is a StarModul start ridge connector for 5×5 cm square tube. It joins, at the highest point, the two sloping beams of a gable roof to the start or end frame (gable end). It is bolted on, without welding, and includes the screws.
It is installed on the end frames of a gable roof. It is the no-flanges version in the 5×5 cm series, designed for exposed structures where the finish matters. See the 3D viewer on this product sheet to view the exact shape of the connector.
Fit the tubes into the part, check the corner bracket, and screw in. No welding or special machinery is required, so the structure is assembled directly on-site. For this joint you need 5×5 cm galvanized steel tube (1.5 mm thick); we can send it to you cut to size.
