Demountable structures
Demountable steel structures
Structures made of galvanised steel tube with StarModul bolted joints. They go up without welding and can be taken down, moved and put up again: for stands, temporary sheds, roofs, modules and any structure that needs to move or grow.
Why they come apart
Every node is a bolted joint
In a welded structure the joints are permanent: taking it down means cutting. With StarModul every node is a bolted connector. Loosen the bolts and the tubes come apart whole, so the structure can be moved, extended or rearranged.
- DIN 933 grade 8.8 bolts with self-locking nuts.
- Square tube in 25, 50 and 100 mm and 100×50 mm rectangular tube.
- Labelled parts and assembly drawings so it can be put up again.
- Any change of layout is checked with a structural calculation.
Benefits
Benefits of a demountable StarModul structure
No cutting to dismantle
Tubes and joints come apart by loosening bolts, with no grinder or welder.
Easier to transport
Separate tubes and joints take up less space than welded frames and are easier to move.
Reusable
The same structure can be put up elsewhere or used for another layout, if the calculation allows it.
Extendable
Adding a module or lengthening a shed just means adding tubes and joints to what is already there.
Dry assembly
No sparks, fumes or hot work: it goes together with spanners and ordinary tools.
Kit with drawings
You get cut tubes, joints, bolts and drawings with a reference for every part.
How we work
From measurements to assembly
1 · Size and use
Tell us what you need to cover, where, and how often it will be put up and taken down.
2 · Design and calculation
We define the geometry, tubes, joints and anchors for the loads on site.
3 · Kit preparation
We cut and label the tubes and prepare the joints, bolts and drawings.
4 · Assembly and dismantling
The structure goes up following the drawings and comes down in reverse order.

FAQ
Questions about demountable structures
Can a StarModul structure be dismantled?
Yes. The nodes are bolted joints, so the structure comes apart by loosening the bolts, without cutting tubes or welds.
Can it be put up again somewhere else?
Yes, as long as the new site has compatible loads (wind, snow, supports). Before reassembly, check tubes, joints and bolts and replace anything damaged.
What are demountable structures used for?
Stands and trade fairs, temporary sheds and warehouses, roofs, site offices, modules and porches that you want to be able to move or extend.
What foundations does it need?
It needs supports and anchors suited to the loads. They are specified in the project for the base: slab, concrete pads or another solution.
Can it be extended later?
Yes. Tubes and joints are added to the existing structure. Any extension is checked with a structural calculation.
Are there standard kits with prices?
Yes. The shop has structure kits with prices for the most common sizes. For other sizes, the 3D configurator gives a guide price.
