The 0055-17 is a StarModul straight double U-joint for 5×5 cm square tubes. It joins two tubes by their side face with a double U-clamp, without cutting them. It is screw-mounted, without welding, and includes the hardware.
It is used to fix one tube next to another, for example a beam to a post by the side or two parallel tubes. It is the most common size for pergolas, porches, gazebos, and lightweight self-assembly structures. See the 3D viewer on this tab to see the exact shape of the part.
Fit the tubes into the part, check the corner bracket, and screw. No welding or special machinery is required, so the structure is assembled directly on-site. For this joint you need 5×5 cm galvanized steel tube (1.5 mm thick); we can send it to you cut to size.
